whimsy

Today I am really sad that I do not own a Kindle. Why?  Because Plum Sykes has released her first literary piece in years and I purchased both The Debutante Divorcee and Bergdorf Blondes on the very days they were released! Yesterday, Amazon.com lauched Plum’s new memoir Oxford Girl. Amazon writes:Plum Sykes doesn’t stray far from her inside stories about the social elite in Oxford Girl. In fact, this short narrative could serve as the prequel to her bestselling novels Bergdorf Blondes and The Debutante Divorcée–life in England before arriving in the Big Apple, and before arriving at all.” Now, what leans more on the side of nonsense – not reading a book by Plum Sykes or purchasing a Kindle so I may own the memoir? Hmmm…

** UPDATE > Fab tip from SocietyStylist.com iPad/iPhone users can download the KINDLE application for free (news to me)!! Problem solved!
