j’adore!

When it comes to the Met Gala, Nonsense & Sensibility loves the ladylike gowns and attire.  This year, favorites included: Christina Ricci in Thakoon, Claire Danes in J. Mendel, L’Wren Scott wearing her own design (the back of her gown- incredible), Brit Marling wearing Valentino, Lily Colins wearing Valentino, and Claire Courtin-Clarins, Prisca Courtin-Clarins, Jenna Courtin-Clarins, and Virginie Courtin-Clarins, all in Mugler – certainly received double (triple) takes.  And, I really did love Florence Welch’s Alexander McQueen gown – there’s something about her entire look that’s always beautiful and otherworldly. Of course, again, I absolutely do love the clean lines of the J.Mendel gown Claire Danes wore- simple, elegant, glamour.

Enjoy!
