Jewelry designer, Steven Lagos of Lagos jewelry made a special appearance at the Neiman Marcus NorthPark store in Dallas on April 12th. I absolutely loved taking a peek at the latest collection and instantly fell head-over-heels in love with the Malachite Ring – how gorgeous is that? I was fortunate enough to schedule a short Q&A session with the designer to hear more about the inspiration behind his latest collection and share it with you!
N/S: Do you have a favorite piece of jewelry from the current Lagos collection or past collections?
SL: It’s like your children, even if you have a favorite, it’s hard to admit…
N/S: What is the inspiration behind your most recent collection? The colors?
SL: Love the painted quality of the gemstones. There are brushstrokes and variation and shades of color – true works of art. This inspires me every day.
N/S: What styles and trends are you most excited about for spring and summer?
SL: Love to see that bold looks are back! Big statement necklaces and bracelets! All about layering pieces to make a bold statement as well. LAGOS’ multiple caviar bracelets are perfect for this.
N/S: What do you think would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift this year from Lagos?
SL: The Rare Wonders are fun and easy to wear. She can match her Talisman by taking our quiz, or simply pick which piece is most fashionable for her.
