Elle magazine deemed skincare expert, Kate Somerville‘s new DermalQuench Liquid Lift a “facial in a bottle.” After reading the article, I had to try it on my own! Kate made a visit to Dallas just last week to introduce her new products. I had quite a few questions about the new DermalQuench Liquid Lift and also wanted to learn what Kate’s must-haves would be for this coming summer - and even her Mother’s Day gift suggestions!

N/S: Where did you first come up with the idea for DermalQuench Liquid Lift?
Kate: This year I’m especially excited because we’ve taken it to a whole new level with the creation of an advanced wrinkle solution called DermalQuench Liquid Lift. Kate: Twice daily, after cleansing your face, shake bottle well and dispense 3 stripes of the product on the right side of the face then massage in. Repeat on the left side of the face. Dispense 1 stripe across the forehead and massage. Follow with your serums and moisturizers.

N/S: What are your three favorite tips for healthy and beautiful skin?
Kate: For glowing skin, the first step is exfoliation. My favorite exfoliant is Exfolikate, a product in my line that uses natural fruit enzymes, gentle acids, and microbeads to do the job. It clarifies and polishes skin to reveal a glowing, fresh-from-the-Clinic complexion. You can see dramatically smoother, brighter, healthier-looking skin after just one treatment. Then, hydrate: look for a serum with sodium hyaluronate (my all time favorite serum, Quench, has natural lipids that match the skin) to put hydration and moisture back in skin. If you exfoliate and hydrate, the new skin cells will instantly have the glow you want.

Sunscreen today is better than ever, as there have been innovations in technology that effectively protect and nourish the skin.
