The architecture of Seaside extends beyond its roof lines and materials. Beyond its styles. Beyond Charleston, Victorian, Antebellum, or various Revivals. Yes. All of these details and influences comprise the architecture of Seaside. - Seaside, FL
Seaside, Florida
Seaside is one of my favorite spots on the planet. When I visit Seaside, I feel as if I’m in the heart of the true south and amidst all that’s sweet and truly southern (but at the beach)! I have been vacationing to Seaside for as long as I can remember (since I was very very very young). Have you been? It has a very charming, small town, and retro beach appeal. When visiting Seaside, it feels as if you are living in a constant state of perfection and bliss – surrounded by beautiful design and authentic southern art and style.
It has a darling post office, a chapel, tiny seafood restaurants, juice and snow cone Airstreams, and more. There are evening concerts on the Seaside Green, a Saturday Farmers Market, bicycle paths, pastel cottages on the Gulf, white sand beaches with crystal clear emerald water, and the world’s most ADORABLE bookstore: Sundog Books .
