During the hot summer months, or any time really, I can’t think of any place I’d rather be in the WORLD than the beach. I absolutely love it. There’s something so calming about being by the water. I love the sea breeze in the morning – it’s fresh, cleansing, and invigorating.
I feel so much healthier by the sea. I love morning runs along the sand dunes, biking the paths alongside the Gulf of Mexico, and reading my favorite book to the sounds of crashing waves instead of my usual Spotify playlists (not to mention YOLO boarding, kayaking, boating.. anything by/on the water)!
So, what does my beach style look like for summer 2012? Well, of course, I am rarely if ever separated from my iPhone. I would pick this fun sea-inspired turquoise iPhone cover from J.Crew, this bright citrus colored swimsuit from one of my favorites- Norma Kamali, and I’m loving this hat (on sale) from Barneys. I love yellow and turquoise together- blue and citrus – perfection.
As for jewelry: I’m loving starfish this season. This bracelet is perfect. And, you can’t forget this fabulous Nina Ricci Beach Bag (also on sale).
