When I came across this print the other weekend on the Sugar Paper website, I found it charmingly uplifting and inspiring: The World Is Your Oyster. It’s clean, simple, honest, and straightforward – something that seems to be more of a rare encounter in every day life. I think it would be adorable placed in a fancy baroque frame ( like these from Pottery Barn Kids) and hung in a kitchen.
So, while thinking of where I would hang it (imagination is everything isn’t it!), I began to think about tea cups, saucers, and an English themed party (with the Alice & Wonderland Cutlery featured above of course).
And, then, I thought about what I would wear to this party. This leopard cape of course with the gorgeous peach tassel necklace and the nude YSL Belle du Jour clutch. And, as for shoes? Well, they must have just as much flair as the cup and saucer and polka dot coasters. You can’t go wrong with these Bow Pumps from Miu Miu- fantastic.
So, yes, remember that the world IS your oyster (especially in shoes like these) – happy hunting!
