decor, style

This morning, I couldn’t help but SWOON over these images from the new Dior boutique in Saint Tropez. The new luxury boutique is located in the elegant rooms of a magnificent 18th Century building surrounded by a lush garden of greenery.  Dior à Saint Tropez was designed by architect Peter Marino, the shop was inspired by the Dior Avenue Montaigne boutique.

The interior combines contemporary style with 18th century elements and decor.  Toile de Jouy covers the walls and tones of grey paint the interior.  The interior design includes: a chandelier by Verner Panton, a table by Hubert Le Gall, a mirror by Laurent Chauvat, and regal portrait of Christian Dior by Yan Pei Ming looms over the fireplace.

The boutique includes limited edition collections of summer dresses, sandals, and sunglasses available only in Saint Tropez.  And, after shopping, customers can enjoy tea and bites in a garden lounge area (designed by landscape architect Peter Wirtz) where for the second year, star chef Yannick Alleno has set-up a summer kitchen. The restaurant Dior des Lices is open daily.  Check out the interview with chef Alleno here in Dior magazine. And, see the full gallery and article on the new store on Vogue Deutsch.
