According to T magazine, Stella McCartney will be launching an everyday lingerie collection called Stella available in August. The new line will be crafted from organic cotton and recycled materials. “Well-made lingerie is key,” McCartney told T magazine, “Feeling constricted by one’s underwear just isn’t my thing; you need to rely on the quality. It has to fit, function and do its job first and foremost.”
The mid-range line will be comprised of 5 different bra shapes which include low plunge, strapless, molded underwire, and a seamless, underwire-free style. The colors of the collection will be both youthful and classic- from python and electric blue to classic black and light pink. Even the bra straps will be made of recycled metal.
Bras are $55 and the matching knickers in mesh, lace, and matte silk are $26.
