I had so much fun seeing the Cuddle on the Tightrope exhibit by Ernesto Neto this past weekend at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas with friends!
Yes, we had to take our shoes off and I’m so thankful we did because walking the tightrope sculpture was truly a sensory experience from head to toe. The piece is part of the Kink exhibition at the Nasher and is on display through September 9th. I had such a great time with it and found it so inspiring – from the floor to the crochet walls and colors!
According to the Nasher, “The work made for the exhibition at the Nasher Sculpture Center, Kink, continues Neto’s recent explorations of elevated environments and crochet, but for the first time the artist has added the complex new element of a freestanding, interwoven framework of metal structural supports.”
If you can’t check out the exhibit- shopping today’s style board (inspired by Cuddle on the Tightrope) is certainly the next best thing!
