Last week, I made a visit to the Dallas Calypso store and tried on the most beautiful floor-length maxi dress. I’ve never been one to wear snakeskin in the past (it’s seemed a bit harsh for my own personal style), but seeing it paired so delicately, has enticed me to venture out and try different variations of the print. With the Chalina Silk Halter, there’s a gorgeous block of yellow at the bottom of the dress that just pops beautifully. The piece has a very feminine cut and is extremely flattering- elegant and glamorous at the same time.
I suppose with the popularity of pairing yellow with gray, it shouldn’t be much of a surprise for a charcoal python print to be placed with a sunshine yellow. I noticed the combination again on the J.Crew website – what do you think of this look?
