Since first reading (last year) that Aerin Lauder would be launching her own cosmetic brand this year simply called “Aerin,” I have been scouring the internet for images, information, and “scoop” on the line on a weekly basis. I have always been captivated by Aerin Lauder’s personal style- her homes (Aspen!!), her simple, elegant and, classic taste along with her natural beauty.
I loved seeing the September 2012 cover of Town and Country featuring Aerin Lauder (which hits newsstands August 14th) and a few images of the cosmetics (coming later this month) on Vogue.com today. Aerin also said she will be designing beauty accessories like combs, beauty trays, etc. I can’t wait! I am definitely an “old soul” and the glamorous appeal of lovely and delicate accessories for the counter strongly appeals to me.
I can’t wait to see more of this line. I adore the gold packaging! I was going to purchase a few of the Tom Ford makeup brushes for fall, but after reading this on Vogue.com, I believe I will hold off for now:

According to Vogue, “Accessories, like the gold-dipped shells and cream lacquer combs and hairbrushes, will be available starting this November. Beauty products, produced under license by Lauder, will debut at Aerin.com for preorders this month and, come fall, will sit on cosmetics counters next to Re-Nutriv, the company’s luxury skin-care range.”
