Fall fashion must-have: the “H” Slipper (in every color).

Since seeing one of its signature “H” slippers for the first time several years ago, I’ve been closely following Hadleigh’s. Their new boutique in Highland Park Village is positively charming and their fall 2012 collection certainly does not disappoint.  The impressive collection was predominantly inspired by gorgeous fabrics and Shetland tweeds (woven on looms over 200 years old)- and bloomed from there.

The tweeds truly are incredible.  The women’s collection is fresh, modern, and fun while retaining its classic structure and timeless appeal.  I love the mother/daughter matching slippers above in the gingham tweed- adorable!  And, how darling are the colorful bears for children?

Some of the standouts: the new fall scarves (swoon), the cashmere “bow” hats (you can mix and match colors), and of course, the fall slippers. I certainly have my eyes on more than one pair!  Some of the new slippers for women incorporate both tassels and bows. You can’t miss the new flight jacket and the bowed sweater.  The boutique can’t keep its leather luggage on the shelves. Bergdorf Goodman picked up men’s slippers for fall and the collection is sold at Neiman Marcus.

I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this standout brand.
